A woman with shoulder-length hair, smiling and wearing a tan trench coat, standing on a pathway with autumn leaves. The background features a pergola with columns and a railing, surrounded by fall foliage.

Welcome and thank you for visiting.

I am a Tasmanian artist, independent curator, and conservationist creating contemporary abstract seascapes and botanical illustrations. Rooted in the therapeutic calm of the sea and a commitment to ocean conservation, my work is designed to bring a profound sense of tranquility to your home.

My creative process is highly tactile. Working on handmade Indian Khadi rag paper, I build layers of fluid acrylics and ink before physically stitching into the piece with both hand-sewn and machine lines. This unique approach comes from my previous life. Before returning home to Tasmania, I spent 17 years in London working as a professional milliner, where I developed a deep respect for structural form and textile manipulation.

Today, I am endlessly fascinated by the shapes of the land where it meets the horizon, and the shifting light of the water. By intersecting deep, gestural ocean tones with sharp, sewn lines and a sliver of neon pink, I bring a fresh, contemporary edge to the wild freedom of the coast.
