Stepping outside my comfort zone, fuelled by daily 'bad art' sessions, brought me here. This square canvas, a constant thought, is the result of really following my curiosity and finding unexpected beauty in the process.

Day 7 ~ I'm making bad art every day and things are beginning to look interesting. I like where it's going...

Day 5 of making bad art. Yesterday I just let loose, not caring what it looks like, not caring who likes it. Just letting the paint do all the talking and dancing. Today they will be something else, because after all I'm just playing.

Day 4 - Making bad art. Today I've continued on with some loose flowers but these are more abstract. Here I was playing with tones; More paint, the darker the colour, more water, the lighter it becomes.

Day 3 Making bad art. Inspired by the previous piece, I explored the same subject from a new perspective. I'm particularly drawn to the interplay of abstract shapes and the subtle variations in watercolour density, from light washes to deeper tones.
Day 2 - Making bad art. I'm not going to lie, it was a struggle to think of where to start today, so after a few other weird drawings, I went back to hydrangea. I blocked out the main shapes with a brush and went in there with a blue pen afterwards.
